How much does concreting cost on the Central Coast?
This site publishes no price for a driveway, because size, truck access, fall, the ground under the pour and the finish decide it, and only a written quote from a licensed concreter is binding. What is fixed is public. In 2026/27 Council charges $338.50 to apply for a standard crossing, $271.95 to inspect it and $496.30 to assess a non-standard one. In NSW a job over $5,000 including GST needs a licensed contractor and a written contract, and a deposit cannot exceed 10% of the contract price. Paths, patios and slabs are quoted per square metre, and decorative finishes as one all-in figure rather than a rate plus an uplift. The costs page's Concreting costs and rules check shows which NSW licence, contract, deposit, cover and cooling-off rules apply at your job's value.
Can I get a firm price over the phone?
Not a firm one. An exact price needs someone to see the site, check truck access and confirm the fall. A firm quote comes from a site visit, not a phone call.

Process
How does the quote process actually work?
You call or send the enquiry form with the job details and your suburb. We pass those details to a licensed concreter working that part of the coast, who calls you back to arrange a quote and, from there, a pour date. We don't see or set the price ourselves at any point.
Will more than one concreter contact me about the same job?
No — one provider quotes your job, not several. The point of going through us is one licensed concreter working your enquiry, rather than several chasing the same lead and each one calling to follow up.
Timing
How quickly can someone get to me?
There's no single guaranteed callback window we can promise here, because it depends which provider is taking on work that week. Call or send the form with your suburb and the job, and you'll hear back from whoever picks it up.
Does rain affect a booked concrete pour?
Yes — a wet excavation can't be poured, so several days of rain pushes a booked date regardless of what was on the job sheet. This bites hardest on low-lying blocks near the Tuggerah Lake and Brisbane Water foreshores, where the ground stays sodden longer than it does further from the water.
Permits and approvals
Do I need council approval to concrete my driveway?
You need Central Coast Council approval for the section of driveway between the road and your property boundary (a Vehicle Access Crossing) before it's built or altered, whether or not your street has kerb and gutter. Council checks the crossing for vehicle and pedestrian safety, that it won't conflict with existing infrastructure like signs, power poles or street trees, and that stormwater is properly managed; the crossing then becomes the property owner's responsibility to maintain.

Service area
Which suburbs do you cover?
We arrange concreting across the whole Central Coast local government area: from Woy Woy and Umina Beach up through Gosford, Erina and Terrigal to Wyong, Toukley and Ourimbah. If you're near the edge of that area, call and ask rather than assume, since coverage depends on which providers are taking work that week.
Do you do the concreting work yourselves?
No. We're a marketing company, not a concreter, and we pass your enquiry to a licensed local provider who quotes and carries out the work. We hold no trade licence, no insurance and no Home Building Compensation cover ourselves, and we never suggest otherwise.
Thanks — we have your enquiry. Someone will be in touch shortly. Prefer to talk now? Call (02) 4312 5616.
